Glass surfing is when a reptile repeatedly climbs or scratches at the enclosure glass — often a sign of stress, an over-bright or too-small setup, seeing its reflection, or wanting different temperatures.
Occasional exploring is normal; persistent, frantic glass surfing is a flag to check husbandry (temperatures, hides, enclosure size, and whether it can see its reflection). It's the animal telling you something is off.
